I am the Bread of Life

After having miraculously fed 5000 people, Jesus explains to the people that he is the bread of life.

Steeped in law and tradition of a works based religion, the people didn't understand and asked "what must we do to do the works God requires?"

Jesus revealed the answer that is still the answer today, it is to simply "Believe in the one he (God) has sent." It is not by our works that we are saved, but by believing in Jesus' finished work once and for all.
