God's Yes

“The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail.” James 5:16

God’s “Yes!” was fulfilled at the cross. It was like he signed the biggest and fattest will for his beneficiaries. Healing, oppression, salvation, help, peace, provision, life- for us!!! He defeated Satan; disarmed him and put him on display for all of Heaven.

The “yes” is God’s will, but here on earth we won’t see the fulfillment of that unless we believe in Him, receive it and pray fervently ( it’s a working out- active belief and agreement with God’s will).

God doesn’t want the enemy to rule and reign. He wants us to. He gave us back authority to enforce His will when He sent His Son. He gave us the Holy Spirit to give us power. (The Holy Spirit doesn’t come and go. He’s in us 24/7. )

Righteous ones, stir up the Spirit that is in you. Push back the enemy- you have power over him. At your “go!” He has to obey. Standing firm means KNOWING that God has said “yes” to your health, to kids to will LOVE God and serve Him, to your future and to this nation’s future.

In the midst of chaos and what looks like a whirlwind of destruction and pain, it’s those who look up and look to Him; who don’t fall back and cave in to the culture and the arguments of the world; who stand firm in the promises and the righteousness of a Good God - they will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.

Don’t be discouraged. Look up!

Picture yourself sitting by His side and feeling His heartbeat, His pleasure, His friendship and strength and then, when you’ve been strengthened, get up and DO something about what He’s said to you.

Matt 11:12 “the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force.”
