Showing Kindness on Eid al-Fitr
JERUSALEM STREET was rocking today! My new friend Imam Yusuf (Lead Imam at 32 years old from New Jersey). We have similar personalities, but I lead a Christian Church and he leads a Muslim Mosque . His Mosque is on the same street as LifeShare Church (Casa Bella).
Today, was their busiest prayer day of the year. I allowed them to park in our parking lot as long as they promised to patronize Butterfly Coffee. Everyone seemed happy to comply. It proved to be a pretty smart marketing move, because they were very grateful to be able to park for free and loved our coffee.
I love it when the Lord gives his children heavenly strategies. Last year I wasn’t open to that, but Jesus enlarged my heart “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends!”
