Healing At LifeShare Church
We pray for HEALING every Sunday at LifeShare Church, laying hands on the sick or anyone with a need, expecting them to recover.
The Lord impressed upon me, while on vacation last week, that I needed to share a story of JESUS healing someone from the gospels every Sunday at LifeShare and then pray for the needy. To build faith, hope, and expectancy in the goodness and power of God to do miracles today. It’s revealing that every time I speak of praying with expectancy and then ask people to share testimonies of answered prayer, people are eager to testify before the church of miraculous answers to prayer People that are a part of LifeShare or who visit our worship experiences don’t want to hear: why didn’t God heal, what if he doesn’t heal, but rather “WHAT IF HE DOES HEAL and please pray for me!”
A case in point was last Sunday, when a lady I didn’t know testified that her young niece and nephew had been praying for a family to adopt them. And they wanted to share that their prayer had been answered and the adoption was almost finalized. Our entire church rejoiced with them with strong applause, giving God thanks. Then the lady continued in a request for prayer for her little niece Alaura who also has an eye condition that could threaten to take her eyesight. She said so far the power of the Lord has stayed this condition, but was asking us to agree with them that Jesus would, 100%, heal Alaura’s eyes for a lifetime. So, I began to tell Alaura and the church how Jesus healed the paralytic man who was brought by 4 of his friends to Jesus. How the house was packed with a crowd listening to Jesus preach, but the faith of the paralyzed man’s friends motivated them to remove the dirt roof and lower the man on his mat into the middle of the house and crowd, and right in front of Jesus. And how Jesus laid his hands on the man, forgiving his sins and healing his body. With faith and expectancy high, we laid our hands on Alaura and lifted our hearts to God in prayer. It was a sight to behold as 30 plus people in the congregation came down to the front of the auditorium and huddled around Alaura in prayer. The place was electric and everyone seem to feel this is what we are called to do as a church and as bold faith-filled followers of Jesus.
Since the new year we’ve had testimonies like these: brain aneurism healed, God providing for a non-profit Kingdom Healthcare practice, a nurse praying for the sick at work and seeing good results, a computer guy getting a promotion and able to now work from home, someone’s brother who’s been an atheist has been open to God recently, the Lord healing a lady who was hit by a car, a lady who is happy that LifeShare is her new church home, a guy who was nearly broke but God helped him close a big real estate deal, a guy coming back to the Lord and making his family relationships right, a young lady who’s father died and mother struggling with cancer but God provided a big scholarship for her to finish college and move forward in faith, a father who’s son was acquitted from some legal things and experienced the mercy of God, a single mom who had an overwhelming amount of things go wrong in her life and house and then one by one God help her resolve every burden, and a man who prayed with his children to surround their house and cars with Angels and when the thieves broke into neighbors cars their car was kept safe.
If you have a need, could use a prophetic word of encouragement, and would like our leaders to lay hands on you and agree with you for your miracle: we will see you this SUNDAY, 10AM at LIFESHARE CHURCH.
