Courageous November Meeting
The men of LifeShare had an empowering time of fellowship after Tony Walker passionately shared about how God has new, more, and fun experiences for his sons through Holy Spirit encounters.
The discussion and prayer time went deeper into how to heal the broken hearted in our world. Satan has sown lies that have left people bound by sin and oppression, but we have the answer they need.
Jesus went about healing all who were sick and oppressed by the devil and he’s given us the same ministry of reconciliation, which is bringing people into a loving relationship with God. A simple “God loves you, do you have a need I can agree in prayer with you about? Jesus loves you so much, he wants to heal you or provide for you” will sow a seed of reconciliation that will bring them closer to salvation or ready for salvation. And when Jesus answers that prayer, it’s over. Faith will be born in their hearts because they know Jesus cares and is powerful to meet their needs.
Be bold to share your faith because you have the best news in the world. Look at how Paul says it,
“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:14-21)
