KIDMIN Leader Meeting
This past Sunday our KIDMIN pastors Chris and Jaime Flores brought together our children’s ministry leaders to have some fun, cover a few basics and say thank you.
They welcomed new leaders to the elementary and preschool classrooms. In all we now have 26 people working in our children’s ministry. That is more than we have ever had! We are so excited about how much the ministry is continuing to grow.
One of the topics discussed was vision heart encouragement. They focused on 1 Timothy 4:12.
”Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”
We want to set the difference between children’s ministry vs. programs. We are growing but we are never going to grow away from personal, hands on, in tune with Jesus and our church families ministry. Our ministry flows from our relationship with Jesus.
Everything we do, from teaching Bible lessons to preparing snacks for kids, should flow from our relationship with Jesus. Spending time in the Word, being a part of a small group, and attending “big” church are still important for our spiritual walk.
What the KIDMIN leaders do is so important to the overall vision and mission of LifeShare. It's an extension of our mission and vision, “Connecting people to a loving heavenly Father in everyday life.” We couldn't do it without their sacrificial and loving care.
Chris and Jaime are amazing at all that they do for our children’s ministry. We thank all the leaders currently and newly serving our LifeShare kids!
