Lorenzo Ventura's Jesus Story
Check out this amazing testimony. God is so good!
“A little under a month ago, I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, which left my left side of my face paralyzed. I was scared, and nervous as I did not know what was going on, nor how long I would be paralyzed. I could not smile, and this was an intense mental battle for me. The Lord had delivered me from depression and suicidal thoughts, so when Jesus freed me, I couldn’t help but smile bright constantly, and now the enemy had tried to take my smile from me.
However, he failed, and could only get half temporarily. I am so grateful for my family at LifeShare Church, my family, friends, co-workers, and everyone who loved on me, and prayed over me and supported me on this healing journey.
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)
The Holy Spirit put this verse on my heart to meditate on, and two weeks into the trial, I heard the Holy Spirit tell me, “Lorenzo, I am going to heal you quicker than you expect.” I held on to that word, not knowing when it would come to pass, but kept going.
Right after God told me he was bringing healing quicker than I expected, a word that He had spoken over me in 2019 about my call to minister in Japan came to pass. That same week, I was called and told that I had been chosen to serve overseas on a mission trip to Japan this Summer 2020. This set me in a kind of shock and reverence, as it was a reminder God’s word does not return back void to Him. After that, I was miraculously healed! Within that week, I slowly began to smile, and now I can smile fully. I am so grateful God puts great people in our lives to walk alongside us in our trials, and that God Himself is faithful always!
“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” (2 Timothy 2:13)
God is so good, and whatever trial you are facing, press into God’s presence, into His word, and seek the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, as it was nights of deep prayer in Spirit that God would comfort me, fill me up, and hold me steadfast. God is faithful, so have faith!” — Lorenzo Ventura
